In the Eat Smart, Get Moving Personal Wellness program, participants will track physical activity and food choices in terms of "points." The focus is on energy balance between food and activities. As role models for America’s children, you and your team can set a good example by maintaining your own personal wellness.
2500 "minimum points" to be obtained through activity and food choices as outlined below:
Your team’s Phase 1 goal is to track a minimum of 150 points:
Allowed Bonus points for Phase 1:
1 additional serving of Dairy per day earns 1 point
Up to 2 additional Whole Grain Serving(s) per day (1 point each)
Up to 4 additional Fruit/Vegetable Serving(s) per day (1 point each)
Up to 2 additional (20-minute) increments of Physical Activity per day earns 1 point per increment
Deadline for Phase 1 reporting is November 7, 2008
